BTS Jimin has once again proven his popularity and influence as a solo artist by dominating the Spotify South Korea Daily Chart with seven songs from his debut album FACE and his collaboration with American rappers Kodak Black and NLE Choppa. As of June 9th, 2023, Jimin’s songs occupy the top four spots and three more in the top ten, making him the first and only Korean soloist to achieve this feat.
“Angel Pt. 1”, a song by Kodak Black and NLE Choppa featuring Jimin and American singers Jvke and Muni Long, is the number one song on the chart with over 120K streams. The song is the fourth single from the soundtrack to the American action film Fast X (2023) and has been praised for its catchy hook and Jimin’s smooth vocals.
“Like Crazy”, “Like Crazy (English Version)”, and “Set Me Free Pt. 2” are the second, third, and fourth songs on the chart respectively. These songs are from Jimin’s debut studio album FACE, which was released on March 24th, 2023, through Big Hit Music. The album is primarily a pop, hip hop, and R&B record, with Pdogg, Ghstloop, and Evan responsible for production. Jimin co-wrote all five songs on the album and one instrumental.

Notably, Jimin became the first solo artist to debut at number one on both Oricon album charts in 2023. While FACE entered the US Billboard 200 at an impressive number two, the album’s impact and recognition were undeniable on a global scale.
