BTS, the global phenomenon and the most popular boy band in the world, has been making waves in the fashion industry with their individual brand partnerships. Six of the seven members have already become the faces of some of the most prestigious luxury brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Tiffany & Co, Dior, CELINE and Calvin Klein. But what about the seventh member, Jin, who is currently serving in the South Korean military?
According to a recent Instagram post by Hypebeast, Jin is rumored to be a potential brand ambassador for Cartier, the French jewelry and watchmaker. The post says”Even Jin, who’s currently completing his mandatory service in the South Korean army, has been rumored as potential Cartier ambassador..” If this is true, Jin will represent a brand that is known for its elegance, sophistication and craftsmanship.
Jin, who is also known as “Worldwide Handsome”, has always had a penchant for Cartier watches. He has been spotted wearing various models from their vintage collection. His refined and classic style matches well with the timeless and exquisite designs of Cartier.
Jin’s fans have been ecstatic over the news of his possible collaboration with Cartier. They took to Twitter to express their support and admiration for him. One fan tweeted, “Jin being a Cartier ambassador just makes so much sense. He’s classy, elegant and handsome. He deserves this.” Another fan wrote, “This is just fitting, in case it’s true. Jin is a top-class gem himself, we all know.”
Jin enlisted in the military in December 2022 as the first member of BTS to do so. He released his solo debut single “The Astronaut” before he went away to serve his country. The song was a heartfelt message to his fans about his journey and his hopes for the future. He also appeared on Suga’s YouTube series “Suchwita”.
Jin will complete his military service in 2025 and reunite with his fellow BTS members who will also be enlisting one by one. After returning from the military, Jin will surely surprise us with his solo projects and his potential partnership with Cartier. We can’t wait to see what Jin has in store for us!
