Terms of service

ViralTakes is an entertainment product: movie quiz games, a daily challenge and leaderboards. Scores, Movie IQ and streaks are for fun and bragging rights. They are not a measure of anything else, and we may adjust how they are calculated over time.

You can play without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and choose a username that is not offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else. We may rename or remove accounts that break this.

Play as a person. Automated play, tampering with results, exploiting bugs to inflate scores, or interfering with the service may lead to results being removed or accounts being closed. Paying for ViralTakes+ never changes how a game is scored.

ViralTakes+ is a paid subscription with the benefits described on the ViralTakes+ page at the time you subscribe. Benefits marked “coming soon” are not part of the purchase until they launch.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (or its affiliate for your region) as merchant of record. By subscribing you also accept Paddle’s checkout terms. Prices are shown before you confirm and include applicable taxes where the checkout says so.

Renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep ViralTakes+ until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Paddle under Paddle’s buyer terms and applicable consumer law. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital service, you may lose that right once the service has started with your agreement. The refunds and cancellation page explains how to cancel and how to ask for a refund.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will retry. Your access continues until the end of the paid period; if payment is not completed, your account returns to Free.

We aim to keep ViralTakes available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or retire games and features. If we ever discontinue ViralTakes+ we will stop renewals and let paid periods run out.

Film titles, release years and credits are factual data. Puzzle writing, clues and artwork are original to ViralTakes. You may share your results; you may not scrape, republish or resell the games or their data.

To the extent permitted by law, ViralTakes is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from its use beyond what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you.
